About Me
Who I Am
Iām Alysse. I have been a pediatric OT for over 10 years working with children in schools, inpatient hospitals, outpatient settings and in-home. I have my Doctorate in OT and am Board Certified in Pediatrics by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
What I Do
As an occupational therapist, my goal is to help all my clients reach independence in all functional daily activities. I have specialized experience working with children with Medically Complex Diagnoses, Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome, Autism, Sensory Processing Deficits, Fine motor Delays, Feeding Difficulties/Delays, Rehabilitation after an injury/accident, and children without any specific diagnosis but would benefit from occupational therapy services.
Specialty Services
I am currently a Level B Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI) Provider within the Upstate SC area providing in-home services.
I am Vital Stim/DINES Certified for children with feeding difficulties and dysphagia as well as working on oral motor skills for breastfeeding, bottle feeding, transition to solids, and picky eating.
