About Me

Who I Am

I’m Alysse. I have been a pediatric OT for over 10 years working with children in schools, inpatient hospitals, outpatient settings and in-home. I have my Doctorate in OT and am Board Certified in Pediatrics by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).

As an occupational therapist, my goal is to help all my clients reach independence in all functional daily activities. I have specialized experience working with children with Medically Complex Diagnoses, Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome, Autism, Sensory Processing Deficits, Fine motor Delays, Feeding Difficulties/Delays, Rehabilitation after an injury/accident, and children without any specific diagnosis but would benefit from occupational therapy services.

I am currently a Level B Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI) Provider within the Upstate SC area providing in-home services.

I am Vital Stim/DINES Certified for children with feeding difficulties and dysphagia as well as working on oral motor skills for breastfeeding, bottle feeding, transition to solids, and picky eating.
